Delete your LeazeSure account
LeazeSure is a free rent-reporting app by LeazeSure Technologies Inc. You can delete your account and data at any time.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to LeazeSure, on the website or in the app.
- Go to Settings and tap Delete my account. You can also tap it on this page once you're signed in.
- Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted right away and you're signed out.
Can't sign in? Email privacy@leazesure.ca from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm it's you and delete your account within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your sign-in: password, Google or Microsoft sign-in, and any saved sessions.
- Your email address and phone number.
- Rent reminders, shared Rental Passport links and pending roommate invites.
- If your account was never approved: your ID verification details, lease, rent proofs, disputes and every file you uploaded.
What we keep, and for how long
- Rent already reported to Equifax Canada. If your account was approved, the lease details and rent payments we reported (and their proofs) are kept for as long as the law and our agreement with Equifax require, so reported information can be audited or disputed. Deleting your account stops all future reporting.
- Your consent records. The record of when you agreed to or withdrew consent to reporting is kept as a legal record.
- Backups. Copies in encrypted backups are removed on our regular backup schedule.
Other account information is kept for up to 24 months after your account closes and then deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy.
